Maldives Visa Checklist for Bangladeshi Visitors
General Information:
- Tourist visa: Granted on arrival for all nationalities, no pre-approval required.
Entry Requirements:
- Valid Passport:
- Must have a Machine Readable Zone (MRZ) and at least 1 month of validity.
- Passports with extended validity are not accepted.
- Travel Itinerary:
- Return journey confirmed tickets.
- Prepaid confirmed hotel booking at a registered hotel.
- Proof of sufficient funds to support your stay or a pre-approved visa sponsorship.
- Onward Destination Requirements:
- Ensure your visa and passport validity for your next destination.
- Traveller Declaration:
- Submit within 96 hours before your flight via IMUGA.
- Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate:
- Required if applicable (children under 1 year exempt). Check Yellow Fever endemic countries.
- Minors:
- Must have their own passport.
Notes:
- Transit travelers (those passing through Maldives to another country without clearing immigration) do not require a visa.
- A complete travel itinerary does not guarantee entry; admissibility is determined by Immigration officers at the port of entry according to The Maldives Immigration Act 2007.
